Nextdoor is a private social network for your neighborhood. It’s the easiest way for you and your neighbors—and only you and your neighbors—to talk online and make all of your lives better in the real world. And it’s free!
County Wide Assistance – Orange County has established Orange County 2-1-1 as a vital community resource in which you can get connected to get answers. They help people find the help they need. You can dial 211 from any landline, mobile or pay phone to reach someone that can help.
We would like to challenge people to be a part of their own neighborhood movement and move from strangers to acquaintances, then from acquaintances to a lasting connection with the people who live closest to you. Be intentional in your relationship with your neighbors.
National Night Out now involves over 37 million people and 15,000 communities from all fifty states, U.S. It’s a wonderful opportunity for communities nationwide to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention, and neighborhood camaraderie. While the one night is certainly not an answer to crime, drugs and violence, National Night Out represents the kind of spirit, energy and determination to help make neighborhoods a safer place year round. The night celebrates safety and crime prevention successes and works to expand and strengthen programs for the next 364 days.
